Karina Kane is a Senior Client Manager located in Highmark’s Lehigh Valley office. Karina has been in the Health Insurance Industry for over 20 years. She joined the Highmark Sales and Marketing team in 2005 as a Client Manager focussing on large groups in the education and government realm.
Prior to working in the Lehigh Valley, Karina was an Information Systems Analyst in Highmark’s Camp Hill office. Karina’s current role as a Senior Client Manager is to serve as the liaison between existing clients and Highmark. Karina is responsible for consulting with clients and producers to provide strategic solutions that result in effective health car management decisions. Karina values integrity, responsiveness, collaboration and a focus on the user experience.
Born in Queens, New York and raised in the Lehigh Valley, Karina graduated from Allentown Central Cathlolic High School and The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and a Minor in International Business.
She is fluent in Spanish and French and is honored to volunteer and serve on the leadership team of Highmark’s Latino Business Resource Group, SALUD. In this role, Karina works collaboritively and strategically with Highmark’s Diversity and Inclusion and Community Affairs teams in support of diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Karina resides in Allentown and remains active in her community. Today, Karina additionally serves on the Boards ArtsQuest, Rising Tide Community Loand Fund and Bethlehem YWCA. In addition, Karina serves on the Phoebe-Devitt Gala and Institutional Advancement Committees. In her spare time, she greatly enjoys traveling, enjoying the arts, and exercising, and engaging with the Lehigh Valley’s community nonprofits.
